HOW TO BUY
There are many factors that determine the price of a job. However,
GEM Marble & Granite can provide you with an estimate once we
have all the information (fill out form below).
The process is simple... just follow these steps:
- You make a rough sketch of the room layout with measurements.
GEM can assist with this if desired. Click
here for example (.pdf).
- Call GEM to schedule an appointment or drop
by our showroom during
operating hours.
- Visit GEM to review the sketch and select your stone, edges,
sinks and faucets.
- GEM provides an estimate based on your sketch and selections.
- A template is scheduled and a deposit (50%) is made. Your stone
is placed on hold. Click here for pre-template
requirements.
- The template is completed and a final Production Order is prepared.
- You approve the Production Order with a signature. A date
of installation is provided. (Typically within two weeks of the
signed Production Order)
- You are contacted a couple of days prior to the installation
to confirm the installation and arrange a more specific time of
day.
- The time required to complete an installation varies according
to the amount of stone and the complexity of the job. However,
most jobs are completed within four (4) hours.

new counter tops are beautiful and ready to use when we leave!
Fill out the following form, making sure you upload your measured
sketch (or you can fax the measured sketch to 704-782-1185). In
order to provide a close estimate of the cost, a measured sketch
of the area is needed. Though the sketch can be quite rudimentary,
a representative from GEM can visit the job site to make this drawing
if you are not comfortable. The final price will be determined
after the Pre-Template decision have been made and the template is
completed.
